Rare Birds Book Club

So anyone that knows me knows how much I love to read. I have always been a book worm from the first time my Granny took me to visit our local library. As I have grown my taste in literature have changed and evolved but are pretty broad.

One of the main goals I had this year was for a greater focus on self care and part of that for me is getting back to reading. On top of the tricky issue with finding the time to read, I was struggling with finding awesome books to add to my list that I actually wanted to make the time to read.

Thankfully this is where Rare Birds Book Club stepped in! The lovely Rachel has created an online book club that delivers a book straight to your door every month, taking the stress out of choosing something new. Championing books written by women for women, each selection is quirky, pacey and a true conversation starter.

The books come beautifully wrapped and are a surprise to the subscribers. Once you get through the delight that is your hand picked book of the month the fun doesn’t stop. The book club element kicks in and you log on to the website to discuss and review the story with your fellow ‘Rare Birds’ on a forum. You can work through your book at your own pace and the forum will be waiting for when you finish and want to get involved in the chat.

Its a great concept and would make a fab gift for a friend, or just a well deserved treat for yourself.

Subscriptions cost ยฃ10 a month and there are various options up to 12 months. Check out their website Rare Birds Book Club for more information and subscription details.
