Festive Family Day at The St. Enoch Centre

Our faves at the St. Enoch Centre invited us along to have a festive day out for all the family. They have a jam packed calendar of activities to get you in the Christmas spirit, including Santa and his Grotto, snow in Hamleys, and the collection point for the annual 5k Santa Dash costumes.

We arrived around 11 and were surprised with goodie bags for each of the boys from the Disney Store in the centre. They were pretty blinking excited.

Santa and The Grotto

Next up was a visit to the big man in red himself. Full disclosure, I was more excited about this than Harrison, he’s not particularly keen on Santa yet.

The Grotto is great, prices to meet Santa start from £5 with a gift and you can add special photo keepsakes too. Between 10-11am on a Sunday morning they are also running specific ‘quiet’ sessions designed for children with autism or with sensory or learning disabilities or vulnerabilities. The centre recommends booking your visit to Santa in advance as it gets pretty busy, especially the closer we get to Christmas Day.

It would be remiss of me to not mention the shopping in the centre. As well as all the usual high street brands we know and love, St. Enoch also has some quirkier stores including an awesome pop up collab between Eponymous and Ryan James Studio! Up on the first floor this pop up features some of my absolute fave Indy brands like Barbra Kolasinski and Chou Chou Couture. It’s a must shop stop for me, as well as Kimbles for some of their delectable Christmas chocolates.

After all that festive fun and shopping we needed a refuel. The centre has a huge atrium with loads of different food options to suit everyone. We really like the atmosphere and Americana styling of Ed’s Easy Diner so grabbed a booth in there and stuffed our faces. The adults portions are especially generous so make sure you work up an appetite before heading in.

We loved our day out and are absolutely full of the Christmas spirit now, so much so we put the tree up following it!

Huge thanks to The St. Enoch Centre and their team for spoiling our family, I will be back in this week for the last of my Christmas shopping.

This blog post was not a paid requirement following our visit, simply an honest review. In the interest of transparency we were gifted with some goodies for the kids, Santa tickets and lunch.
